From African culture to science fiction films, comics, and even heroic fantasy, this piece is certainly the start of a long series of this kind, as the sources of inspiration seem inexhaustible.
Arc welding and plasma cutting are, of course, part of the process, but not the only ones. The rounded shapes inherent to this creation led me to use benders, rollers, and other homemade tools created specifically for this purpose, in order to bend the steel and achieve the desired effects.

The sculpture is also finished with a hot patina.
You can observe the richness and diversity of the tones generated by the heat on the different surfaces of the piece.
Indeed, these surfaces do not react in the same way depending on their thickness and the time it takes them to reach a certain temperature. It is this dialogue with the material that gives us this formidable palette of iridescent colors, with an almost hypnotic effect.
