This work is a variation of Path to the Sea, Yellow Light, Arcachon. Using the same composition, it explores a different interpretation of the landscape through colour.

A path lined with wooden sand fences leads through the pine forest toward the sea. Here, the palette is built around golden greens, yellow ochres, and sap green, creating a softer and more enveloping atmosphere. Contrasts are reduced in favour of a diffused light reminiscent of the warm tones of late afternoon.

The gesture is more blended and fluid, allowing forms to merge into one another. Colour transitions contribute to a more atmospheric perception of the landscape, where light seems to circulate throughout the composition.

Working from photographs reinterpreted in the studio, Hélène Vac transforms the observed landscape into a sensory experience in which colour becomes the primary tool for constructing space and memory.

Framing and Shipping

This artwork is currently presented in a high-quality black wooden frame fitted with anti-reflective acrylic glazing, providing protection while preserving the visibility of colours and details.

The artwork can be shipped framed, in a custom transport crate, or unframed, carefully rolled in a protective tube to facilitate international shipping and reduce transportation costs.
