This diptych draws on vineyard labour, more specifically the gesture of green harvesting, and shifts it into a more open pictorial field. Composed of two paintings measuring 80 × 60 cm each, it forms a single work of 120 × 80 cm. Two hands part the foliage around the grape clusters, revealing the fruit through a movement that is both precise and repetitive.

The scene quickly moves toward a more abstract visual language. The composition is built on a deliberately reduced and highly contrasted palette (fluorescent red, black, light blue, flesh pink), where colour acts as a tool for cutting, structuring, and creating tension. The forms, sharply defined by the brush, overlap and merge, creating an ambiguity between flesh (hands and bare arms) and the vine stocks, treated according to the same visual logic.

The body no longer clearly separates from the plant. The repeated gesture of human labour becomes absorbed into this cultivated, shaped nature. The painting does not aim to narrate a scene, but to extract its energy: a rhythm, a tension, a friction between the living and its transformation through cultivation.
